❃Cinturones de regazo - ajustables manualmente

La placa de cierre en algunos cinturones de seguridad se puede deslizar y soltar tras abrocharla al asiento en ciertos ángulos. En este caso, dé la vuelta a la placa de cierre (fig. a) y vuelva a abrocharla. Compruebe la instalación de nuevo para ver si funciona. Si no funciona, coloque el asiento de seguridad en otra posición diferente.

❃Cinturones de regazo - con retractor

Los cinturones de regazo con retractor pueden o no sujetar el asiento firmemente.

Siga estos pasos para determinar si su sistema de retractor que sujeta el asiento firmemente :

a.Saque el cinturón de seguridad del todo.

b.Deje que el cinturón se retraiga aproximadamente 6 pulgadas (15 cm).

c.Saque el cinturón de nuevo.

Si el cinturón se cierra a tope y no puede jalarlo más, usted dispone de un retractor de cierre automático que se puede usar con el asiento. Recuerde, cuando instale el asiento, saque el cinturón del todo, abróchelo y luego, apriételo.

Si puede sacar el cinturón de nuevo (paso c arriba), tiene un retractor de cierre para emergencias que NO SE DEBE usar con el asiento.
