Removing Seat Pad for

Cleaning

!WARNING

Do not use this child restraint without the seat pad. Failure to do this can result in serious injury.

Remove harness from splitter plate.

Loosen harness by

pushing down on

 

the harness release

 

lever while pulling

 

out on the harness.

 

Undo harness

 

retainer and

 

unbuckle the

 

buckle.

From the front, pull

harness out of shell

 

and pad.

Place the child restraint into the reclined position. Locate the harness guard door and open it by pressing in on the door’s tab.

Pull out the harness and splitter plate.

From the back of

the restraint, pull

 

pad out from the

 

tabs (shown in red).
