You can view the recorded videos and photos on a large screen by connecting the camcorder to an HDTV or Standard TV.
CONNECTING TO A TV

•Set the video signal output according to the TV colour system of the connected TV (NTSC/PAL). ➥page 60
•Set the video signal output for TV using the "TV Out " function. ➥page 60
•We recommend that you use the AC power adaptor as power source for the camcorder.
Connecting to a high definition TV
To play back the
720/60p, or 720/30p) videos, you need a HDTV Camcorder (high definition TV).

•Do not use excessive force when connecting the cables.
•When connecting the component/AV, make sure to match the colour of the cable plugs to the TV jacks.
•For more information about the connection, refer to your TV’s user manual.
•If you have an SD digital TV, the cable connections are the same as above mentioned but the recorded fi les are played back in SD quality. (When you specify "TV Out : Component 576p or Component 576i "). page 60
