Enabling the Digital Zoom Function

1 Press the MENU button in Capture mode.

The [A Rec.Mode] menu will be displayed.

2 Press the four-way controller (23) to select [Digital Zoom].

3 Use the four-way controller (45) to select [On].

4 Press the OK button.

The camera is ready to take a picture.

4 TakingPictures

•When you turn the LCD monitor off, the digital zoom is disabled even if the digital zoom function is set to On.

•If [Slim] has been selected for the digital filter, you cannot use the digital zoom.

When you use the digital zoom function, the object should be focused by the LCD monitor.
