4Shutter Speed Indicators

The higher shutter speed (1/100, 1/250, 1/1000, 1/2000, or 1/4000) selected with SHUTTER appears. No display appears for the standard 1/60 second shutter speed. The CAMERA/VCR switch must be in CAMERA MAN (manual).

These displays are not recorded on the tape when they appear.

5White Balance Indicators

The indicator for the manual white balance selected with W/B (white balance) appears here. The CAMERA/VCR switch must be in CAMERA MAN (manual).

Display when recording using indoor incandescent light.

Display when recording under outdoor light on a bright day.

No display appears for automatic white balance.

These displays are not recorded on the tape when they appear.

6Time and Date Display

Repeatedly press DATE/TIME to display (or remove) the time and date (or date only). This display will be recorded whenever it appears in the viewfinder.

The clock battery warning ( ) appears here when the clock

battery is missing, installed incorrectly, or needs replacing.

7Tape Counter, Tape Counter with Memory Stop (M), Elapsed-Time Counter, and Time-Remaining Display

Repeatedly press COUNTER DISPLAY for these displays.

Press COUNTER DISPLAY once to display the tape counter.
