Playback on a TV without Audio/Video Input Jacks

To connect your camcorder to a TV without audio/video input jacks, follow the steps below. You will need an optional 1CVA488 RF output adapter. Optional accessories are shown on page 49.

Installation

1Disconnect the VHF antenna from your TV and connect it to the optional RF output adapter.

A.If your antenna is a round 75-ohm cable, connect it to the ANT connector on RF output adapter.

B.If your antenna is a flat twin-lead, connect the flat-lead connectors to the screw terminals on an optional 300-75 ohm transformer, such as 193983. Then connect the transformer to the ANT connector on the RF output adapter.

2Attach the OUT connector of the RF output adapter directly to the VHF IN terminal on the back of your TV.

Note: If your TV has VHF screw terminals, you may need an optional

75-300 ohm transformer, such as AH011.

3Connect the three-pronged plug end of the RF output adapter to the

AUDIO, RF, and VIDEO OUT jacks on the camcorder.
