Elapsed-Time Counter

The time counter shows actual time elapsed while recording. The CAMERA/VCR switch must be in CAMERA for the time counter to operate.

Before you start to record a tape, repeatedly press COUNTER DISPLAY to display the time counter in the viewfinder. Then press the COUNTER RESET button to set the counter

to “0:00:00”.

Time-Remaining Display

The time-remaining display shows the amount of recording (or playback) time left on a cassette inserted in the camcorder.

When the time-remaining display appears in the viewfinder, the camcorder will automatically calculate and display the time remaining for any tape (other than T-140, T-160, or T-180).

Repeatedly press COUNTER DISPLAY to display the time-remaining display in the viewfinder.

Note: The display will remain blank while the camcorder takes a minute or two to calculate the time remaining on the tape. After it has been calculated and displayed, it will automatically be updated and readily available as long as the cassette remains in the camcorder.
