This section describes the basic and general functions used in most situations.

By understanding the capabilities of the H system you will be able to gain a great deal of control of how you work in the future. By taking advantage of the many features available, you might well find your normal practices changing for the better. As all features are user controllable, you tailor the way the camera works accord- ing to your preferences.

Features such as the Quick adjust wheel and Profiles, for exam- ple, do not have to be used of course, but you are advised to read about them and see if they might suit your way of working.
