Bracket your exposures. If possible, take additional shots with the camera'sexposure compensation dial set in the

+or - direction (not possible with Nikon F-401sl N4004s) for TTL auto flash operation, or with the lens opened up one or two f/stops for non-TTL auto flash operation.

USING A DIFFUSER

To diffuse light, place a translucent material, such as one or more sheets of tracing paper between the flash and the subject. For optimum results, experiment with different flash-to-diffuser distances and more than one diffuser. When using a diffuser, use the 5B-24 in either TTL auto or manual flash mode.

To protect the diffuser from burning, be sure it does not come in direct contact with the S8-24 s flash head.

Avoid direct reflection from the translucent material to the lens.
