	3) As high temperature steam passes through a pad

	and becomes damp. When the pad becomes
	saturated, turn the unit OFF and wait until the
	Duo™ cools down - approximately five (5) minutes.
	Put your foot on the foot tab on the back of the Pad
	Tray, and lift the unit off the pad (Fig 22). Allow
	the pad to cool before pulling it off the Pad Tray.

4)Replace with a dry pad by re-attaching the Pad Tray as described on pgs 8-9 under ‘Steam Function

!	Warning	on Hard Floor Surfaces’, and once the Thermal
		Indicator turns orange, continue cleaning.

Colors may bleed during first wash. Be careful when machine washing or drying with mixed fabrics, as microfiber cloths will pick up lint from other fabrics.

Never leave the appliance in one spot on any surface for any period of time. Always place your Duo™ on the Floor Protector Resting Mat when stationary, and make sure the unit is turned off when not in use.

HELPFUL HAAN® HINT: While the HAAN® Duo™ will not lift all set-in stains from your carpet, our patented Ultra-Microfiber Pad may be used to act as a “blotter” for removing most fresh, wet spills and stains.

5)To keep the floor clean and dry, replace the pad when it is dirty and/or saturated.

How to Clean and Store the HAAN® Ultra-Microfiber Pads:

1)Ultra-Microfiber Pads are easy to wash. Always remove the pad after use and wash in cool or warm water with a mild detergent. Soak pads for about 1-2 hours in cold or lukewarm water and hand wash them.

You can also drop the pads in a washing machine (Fig 23), and clean them using the gentle/delicate cycle. NEVER use bleach or fabric softener as this will compromise the absorbency of the microfiber.

2)You may dry your Ultra-Microfiber Pads in a machine dryer on a low setting, but to extend the life of the pads we recommend air drying the pads.
