Warning

The HAAN® Duo™emits steam at 212˚F to sanitize the area of use. This means that the steam head, Ultra-Microfiber Pads and Pad Tray get very hot during use. Care should be taken when using this appliance and DO NOT touch them during use, except in the approved manner as outlined in this manual.

DO NOT operate your Steam Sweeper and Floor Sanitizer if the power indicator light flickers. If flickering occurs contact the HAAN® Customer Care Center at the number shown below.

To avoid circuit overload, DO NOT operate another appliance on the same electrical outlet (circuit).

DO NOT modify the plug. Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock.

Grounding Instructions:

The HAAN® Duo™ must be connected to a grounded (3-prong) wiring system. In the event that thr unit should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a safe path of least resistance for electrical current, thereby reducing the risk of electrical shock. The cord for this product has an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. Do not plug it into an outlet that is not properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.

Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you aren’t sure if the outlet is properly grounded. If it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This appliance is designed for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding attachment plug, as illustrated above. Make certain that the appliance is connected to an outlet with the same configuration as the plug. A plug adapter should NOT be used with this appliance.
