Battery Safety and Handling
■Do not allow batteries to touch metal objects, including coins. Otherwise, a battery may short circuit, discharge energy, become hot, or leak.

Turning the camera on and off
■Press the On/Off button.
Your camera is ready to take pictures when the
On/Off button glows steady blue. Auto mode
is selected.
■ Press the On/Off button to turn off the camera.

NOTE: The lens retracts if it encounters an obstruction when you turn on the camera. Make sure the lens is unobstructed and press the On/Off button again.
