The Voice+ function works only in <Player> mode. page 19

This function enables you to narrate over a pre-recorded tape via the

TV

camcorder's microphone.

1. Connect the provided Audio/Video Cable to the AV Jack of the Camcorder.

2. Connect the other end of the cable to the AV device (VCR/DVD Recorder/ VCR TV) by matching the colors of the terminals.

3.Set the [Power] switch to [PLAYER].

4.Set the [Mode] switch to [TAPE]. (SC-D375(H)/D975 only)

5.Insert the tape you wish to play back in this camcorder.

6.Press the [Record Start/Stop] button on a point where you want during the playback.

Voice+ icon ( ) is displayed on the screen and <VOICE+> will flicker on the screen for a while.

Sound will be transferred from the Camcorder's internal microphone to the connected AV device.

If you use the Voice+ function while copying to an external AV device, the voice sound via the camcorder's microphone will be transferred and dubbed, instead of the pre- recorded sound on the tape.

7.To cancel the function, press the [Record Start/Stop] button again.

[ Notes ]

VOICE+ is available only when the Audio/Video cable is connected. If a different cable (DV or USB cable (SC-D375(H)/D975 only)) is connected, VOICE+ function may not operate properly.

If you press the [(STOP)], [❙❙ (PLAY/STILL)], [œœ (REW)] or [√√ (FF)] button when you operate Voice+ function, Voice+ function will be deactivated.

During the VOICE+ process, the [MENU] and [PHOTO] button functions do not work.

The VOICE+ function does not affect the original sound on the recorded tape.

Sound is transferred from the internal microphone on this camcorder to the connected AV device, when using the Voice+ function. Make sure the microphone is not covered or blocked in any way.

Adjust the sound volume on the connected external device. (TV, audio system etc.)

Feedback may occur if the camcorder is placed near the speaker of an external device. Turn down the volume of the external device and keep the camcorder a reasonable distance away.
