Setup Menu Items

Auto power off

If no operation is performed for a specific period of time, the power to the camera is automatically turned off. This feature is useful to reduce battery wear.

[ ] : 1 minute (approx.)

[ ] : 3 minutes (approx.)

[ ] : 5 minutes (approx.)

Note

• Auto power off does not operate during Slideshow or when in the PC mode.

Sound

Specify whether or not beeps are to be generated when buttons or icons are touched.

[ ] : Beeps are generated.

[ ] : Beeps are not generated.

Date and time setting

Set the current date and time.

For the setting method, see “Setting the Date and Time” in page 24.

Language

Specify in which language menus and messages are to displayed on the LCD monitor.

] : Shows the firmware version on this camera.

] : Returns the settings other than date, time, and language to the factory

 

defaults.

] : Corrects the positional misalignment of the touch panel. After the correction

 

screen appears, slowly tap the center of the [X] mark to perform adjustment.

When two points are tapped, the setting is saved and the setup screen is restored.
