This is what’s called a standard or kit lens and comes boxed with the Advanced-level NX cameras. Covering wide-angle to short telephoto focal lengths, this zoom is perfect for most everyday picture- taking moments, allowing anything from a landscape to a head and shoulders image to be captured with ease. It comes with a petal-shaped lens hood to help prevent light flare and has OIS built in to counteract small movements, and aid image sharpness, when hand-holding.
