6 FEATURES OF THE smc PENTAX-DA LENS

•The smc PENTAX-DA lens is an interchangeable lens specifically designed for digital cameras. Its image circle is specialized for the image sensor (23.5 x 15.7mm) and its optical system is optimized for the characteristics of digital images.

•When autofocusing is finished, it is possible to make fine adjustments by hand using the “Quick-Shift Focus System” (see page 18 for details).

•Lenses that have “SDM” in their name are equipped with a supersonic motor. When mounted on a camera that supports supersonic motors, the autofocus is quiet and smooth.

•The following lenses are dust and water resistant because each part is individually

sealed. This makes it difficult for dust and water to enter inside the lens.
