3.4.2.2Thumbnail Display (Index Playback)

This function allows you to view six thumbnail images on the LCD monitor simultaneously so you may search for a particular image.

1.Rotate the zoom dial until thumbnail view appears. Up to six thumbnail images are displayed simultaneously.

2.Tap the image to be displayed at regular size, or use the navigation buttons and press the OK button to display the selected image on full screen.

Video files are indicated by a film strip down the sides.

3.4.3 Deleting Photo and Video Files

Deleting a photo or video clip permanently removes the file from memory. It cannot be recovered. It is strongly suggested that you protect (lock) files that you are certain you want to keep. See 3.4.4 “Playback Mode Menu Settings” on page 19 for the location of the protect feature.

1.In Playback mode, select the photo or movie clip that you want to delete.

2.Tap the Delete button .

The Delete options screen appears. Select one of the options shown:

Delete single file

Cancel delete

Erase all files

Return to playback

Note

To erase a file that is locked, you must first remove protection it. See 3.4.4 “Playback Mode Menu Settings” on page 19.
