Chapter 4 Host Software

4.1 PC Software

There are two methods for using the DC2700 when attached to a PC. These are through the MY CAMERA extension to MY COMPUTER and by using the supplied STREAMING DRIVER for use as an attached PC camera with applications like NetMeeting.

4.1.1 Installation of My Camera

Place the ARGUS driver CD into your PC, the Auto Run program will bring up the Argus Drivers interface immediately. Click on the ªMy Cameraº options to begin the installation.

MY Camera

Installing the MY CAMERA application will install a new ICON to you’re MY COMPUTER set of objects. Double Clicking on MY CAMERA will launch this explorer window that presents files that are stored within your camera.
