Cropping the photo

Back to our exercise. Let's prepare our photo that we downloaded to send to mom and dad in an email. Since Mr. Photo is still open, let's make a quick change to our photo.

Note: All of the software programs that were included with your WS30 SLIM CD contain individual user's manuals provided by the software manufacturer. Refer to each for in-depth information on each program.

Step 1 Double-click on the photo that we are sending to mom and dad.

Let's crop the picture to remove the extra background contents.

Step 2 Click on the Advanced button. Notice how the cropping tool appears over the photo.

Step 3 Click and drag the cropping handles to the desired location.

Step 4 Click on the Crop button.

Step 5 Click on the Exit button. Step 6 Click Yes to save the new picture.
