Solution #2: You may also purchase a CompactFlash reader to download your pictures (available at most computer stores). A CompactFlash reader is an external device used to copy files from your CompactFlash card, similar to an external floppy drive. Remove your CompactFlash card from your camera and insert it into the CompactFlash reader. You can then drag and drop the files from your CompactFlash card to your computer.

Problem: The CompactFlash card is not detected when inserted into the camera.

Solution: Open the CompactFlash card slot and eject the card. Reinsert the card, making sure it is properly oriented and seated properly. Then turn the camera power on to see if the card was detected.
