FA-200 Flash Adapter

Facilitates use of a Canon Speedlite 380EX with the XL1.

3⋅ Zoom XL 3.4–10.2mm (available Summer ’98)

A super wide-angle lens that gives a range of 24 – 72 mm (35mm film equivalent).

Extender XL 1.6⋅

Attach this extender between a Canon XL lens and the XL1 to boost the focal length of the lens by 1.6⋅.

EF Adapter XL

This allows you to attach Canon EOS lenses to the XL1. The difference in size between the XL1’s 1/3” CCD’s and 35mm film means that the effective focal length of still camera lenses is multiplied by 7.2⋅. A 300mm lens, for example, is transformed into an incredible 2,160mm super telephoto.
