RECORDING START/STOP button

Random Variations

? R RANDOM FADER:

When this function is activated, the camcorder randomly selects the effect used in scene transition (from the Fade and Wipe effects).

WH BK BW

The camcorder chooses one of the fades/wipes at random.

To customize the selection of Fade and Wipe Effects used with Random Variations, refer to the procedures on pg. 38.

1 START RECORDING

Press RECORDING START/STOP, and “ ? R” appears in the LCD monitor. The camcorder does the rest, selecting an effect at random.

•The recording starts with a Fade In or Wipe In. If you press RECORDING START/STOP during recording, Record/Standby mode is preceded by a Fade Out or Wipe Out; when you resume recording, it begins with a Fade In or Wipe In.

NOTE:

The Picture Wipe/Dissolve feature is not available when Random Fader is activated.
