This is usually used when shooting. It is in focus with the

subject that is about 1.9 m away.

Macro Setting

For shooting the subject at a close-up range. It focuses in the

 

proximity of about 45 cm.

Notes:

zIf you use the viewfinder to take a picture in Macro mode, the field visible through the viewfinder does not match the field actually photographed because the viewfinder and lens are in different positions. Accordingly, you should use the LCD monitor to take pictures in Macro mode.

zFlash cannot be used during Macro function. It automatically becomes Flash Off.

zDo not turn the Normal /Macro switch dial unnecessarily. It may become malfunction.

zPlease take note not to touch the lens when turning the dial.
