TROUBLESHOOTING

When the camera does not work:

 

Possible cause

Rectifications

Power unintentionally cut off.

Press the [POWER] button to turn the camera on.

Power cut off due to camera'sAutomatic Power

Battery direction is wrong.

Rearrange the batteries in the correct position.

Power is low or off.

Flash re-charge after shooting is not yet complete.

Internal or card memory full.

The card is write protected.

When you are unable to replay the images:

Possible Cause

Power is low or off.

Camera is set to the wrong mode.

The pictures have not been saved in memory.

When you are unable to Format or Erase:

Possible Cause

The card is write protected.

Dry the camera before turning on the power.

Rectifications

Set camera to Camera mode.

Set to Auto/Red-eye.

The flash does not fire in bright light situation.

Rectifications

Use your hand to cover the monitor from sunlight. Alternatively, use the viewfinder.

Press the [DISPLAY]/Up button to activate the monitor.

Rectifications

Check battery level. Replace if necessary.

Release the shutter button, wait till the Status Indicator is unlit, then shoot again.

Erase the images no longer required, transfer them to your PC or insert a new memory card.

Use a new card or disable the write protection. (only for SD card)

Rectifications

Check battery level. Replace if necessary.

Set camera to Play mode.

Follow the instructions in this manual, shoot again and replay.
