When the camera does not work:
Possible cause	Rectifications
Power unintentionally cut off.	Press the [POWER] button to turn the camera on.
Power cut off due to camera'sAutomatic Power	Press the [POWER] button to turn the camera on.
Off feature.
Battery direction is wrong.	Rearrange the batteries in the correct position.
The batteries are weak.	Replace batteries.
Battery performance deterioration due to low	Warm up the batteries to some extent by, for example, rubbing them

Camera is connected to PC. (When connected	Detach the camera from the PC after image-data download.

Condensation inside camera.

When the flash does not work:

Possible cause

Camera is set at the Video Clip or Play mode.

Flash is set to off.

Shooting in bright light situation.

When the LCD Monitor does not show well:

Possible Cause

The camera is held under bright sunlight.

The LCD monitor is not activated.

When you are unable to shoot:

Possible Cause

Power is low or off.

Flash re-charge after shooting is not yet complete.

Internal or card memory full.

The card is write protected.

When you are unable to replay the images:

Possible Cause

Power is low or off.

Camera is set to the wrong mode.

The pictures have not been saved in memory.

When you are unable to Format or Erase:

Possible Cause

The card is write protected.

Dry the camera before turning on the power.

Rectifications

Set camera to Camera mode.

Set to Auto/Red-eye.

The flash does not fire in bright light situation.

Rectifications

Use your hand to cover the monitor from sunlight. Alternatively, use the viewfinder.

Press the [DISPLAY]/Up button to activate the monitor.

Rectifications

Check battery level. Replace if necessary.

Release the shutter button, wait till the Status Indicator is unlit, then shoot again.

Erase the images no longer required, transfer them to your PC or insert a new memory card.

Use a new card or disable the write protection. (only for SD card)

Follow the instructions in this manual, shoot again and replay.
