A:Connection to a TV or VCR equipped with a SCART connector compatible only with regular video signals
NOTE:
Use the A/V cable and cable adapter.
CONNECT CAMCORDER TO TV/VCR
1 As shown in the illustration at left, connect the A/V cable to the AUDIO and VIDEO connec- tors on the camcorder and to those on the cable adapter, and then connect the cable adpter to the SCART connector on the VCR or TV.
SET “Y/C”/“CVBS” SWITCH
2 Set the “Y/C”/“CVBS” video out select switch on the cable adapter to “CVBS”.
SUPPLY POWER
3 Turn on the camcorder, VCR and TV.
SELECT MODE
4 Set the VCR to its AUX input mode, and set the TV to its VIDEO mode.

NOTE:
Use the

1 As shown in the illustration at left, connect the
SCART connector on the VCR or TV.

2 Set the “Y/C”/“CVBS” video out select switch on the cable adapter to “Y/C”.

●It is recommended to use the AC Power Adapter/ Charger as the power supply instead of the battery pack.
●To monitor the picture and sound from the camcorder without inserting a tape, set the camcorder's Power switch to "CAMERA", then set your TV to the appropriate input mode.
●If you have a TV or speakers that are not specially shielded, do not place the speakers adjacent to the TV as interference will occur in the camcorder playback picture.
