About the battery

The battery used in this unit is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It is susceptible to humidity and temperature and the effect increases the more the temperature rises or falls.

Be sure to detach the battery after use.

Extremely high temperatures or low temperatures will shorten the life of the battery.

Prepare spare batteries when going out for recording.

Be aware that the operating time of the battery becomes shorter in low temperature conditions such as at a ski resort.

If you drop the battery accidentally, check to see if the terminals are damaged.

Inserting a battery with damaged terminals can damage the unit.

Do not throw an old battery into fire.

Heating a battery or throwing it into a fire may result in an explosion.

If the operating time is very short even after the battery has been recharged, the battery has worn out. Please purchase a new battery.

Do not allow battery terminals to come into contact with metal objects (such as necklaces, hairpins etc.).

This can cause short circuiting or heat generation and you may be badly burned if you touch a battery.

About the SD card

The memory capacity indicated on the label of an SD card is the total of the capacity for copyright protection and management and the capacity which can be used on the unit, a PC etc.

Do not leave the SD card where the temperature is high, where electromagnetic waves or static electricity are easily generated or exposed to direct sunlight.

Do not bend or drop the SD card.

The SD card may be damaged or the recorded content may be damaged or deleted.

Put the SD card in the card case or the storage bag after use and when storing or carrying the SD card.
