Setting Up the Product

•The Live View page in Internet Explorer with AXIS Media Control (AMC) in Windows. Right-click in the image and select Pixel counter. Use the mouse to move and resize the rectangle.

View modes

A view mode is one of the possible views for this Axis product and can be accessed from the Source drop-down list in the product’s Live View page.

If the product has not been configured for multiple view modes (see ), only the Overview mode is available.

There are five types of view modes:

•Overview. See page 17.

•Panorama. See page 17.

•Double Panorama. See page 18.

•Quad View. See page 18.

•View areas. See page 22.

Overview

This is an overview of the entire area under surveillence. Define the settings for this view from Setup > Video > Video Stream. See Video Stream, on page 16.

Panorama

This offers a 180 degree view. Define the settings for this view from Setup > Video > Video Stream > Panorama. See Video Stream, on page 16.

This view is only available if the product has been configured for multiple view modes (see ).
