Connecting with Telnet

Ethernet VBricks can be managed remotely via industry-standard Telnet. The same suites of menus that are displayed on a local terminal are instantly available over an IP network. VBrick uses the standard Telnet port.

TTo login using Telnet.

1.Go to Start > Run and type telnet to open a Telnet window.

2.Type ? and press Return to display the menu options.

3.Type open <ip_address> using the IP address of the Vbrick Appliance.

4.Enter the Login name and Password. Default is admin and admin.

5.At the VBrick prompt, type ? to display the top-level commands.
