In CD mode - Skips

backwards to the previous CD track;

In Tuner mode - Tunes down radio frequency. OPEN/CLOSE — Opens and closes CD disc tray. STOP — Stops playing CD.

REPEAT — Repeats a track, CD, or all CDs.

MUTE — Mutes sound.

— Turns power on or off from STANDBY mode.

CD — Selects CD player.

TUNER — Selects tuner and changes radio band in Tuner mode.

AUX — Selects Aux; turns the system on. EQ — Selects equalizer presets.

B. BOOST — Turns Bass Boost on or off. DIMMER / DEMO —Turns the feature demonstration on or off in standby mode; adjusts display brightness.

VOL+ or VOL- — Increases / decreases volume.

PLAY/PAUSE — Plays and pauses current CD.

NEXT /FWD In CD mode - Skips forward to the next CD track; In Tuner mode - Tunes up radio frequency.

SHUFFLE — Turns on/off random playback. FM ST. - Switches between FM stereo and mono. DISC SKIP — Skips to next CD.

INTRO - Turns INTRO mode on or off to play the first 10 seconds of each track.

DN•FOLDER/PRESET•UP In Simple mp3/WMA mode - Goes to the next and previous folder.

In Tuner mode - Selects next/ previous preset station.

SLEEP - Selects the time interval in minutes before the unit turns off.

Installing Batteries

The remote control must be inserted with 2 “AAA” or “R3” or “UM 4” batteries prior to use. Follow the steps below to ensure correct installation.

1.Open the battery compartment door (located at the back of the remote control) by sliding the cover out.

2.Before inserting the batteries, observe the polarities (that is, + and -) of the battery then relate the polarities to the engraved diagram inside the battery compartment. Now insert the batteries.

3.After installation of the batteries, place the lit to cover the batteries. Lightly push it closed with a snap

SHUFFLE - Random playback is activated in CD mode.

REPEAT 1 / REPEAT 1 DISC / REPEAT ALL DISC /

ALL DISC - In CD mode, indicates the repeat option that is activated.

REPEAT 1 - Repeats track.

REPEAT 1 DISC - Repeats current disc. REPEAT ALL DISC - Repeats all discs. ALL DISC - Plays all discs once.

INTRO - In CD mode, intro is activated so the first 10 seconds of each track will be played.

- Timer is activated.

FM / AM - Radio band in tuner mode. AM / PM - AM and PM time indicator. PROG - Program mode.

ST - In FM tuner mode, indicates stereo sound is selected.

CD / TUNER / AUX - Indicates which mode the unit is currently at.

BASS - Bass boost is activated.

- Sleep function is activated.

mp3 / WMA - Current disc is an mp3/WMA disc. MHz / kHz - Radio frequency unit in tuner mode. - Currently in playback mode.

II - Currently in pause mode.

DISC STATUS DISPLAY 1,2,3,4,5 - The corresponding disc icon lights to show which disc compartment is loaded. The current playing disc will flash.
