If this does not solve the problem, pressing the reset button may help, but will erase the time and preset memory. This unit is equipped with electronic shock protection as follows: 20 seconds for CODA (COA)

120 seconds for MP3 recorded at 44.1 kHz, 128kbps

200 seconds for WMA recorded at 44.1 kHz, 128kbps
