With a 10mm box/open end wrench, remove the bolt that is located in front off the passenger's side rear tire.
With all the mounting hardware removed, remove the plastic wheel well liner.
If your SUV does not have the factory air compressor, please go directly to STEP 7.
SUVs with the air compressor only.
S T E P 5
Look up into the passenger's side rear wheel well. You will see this metal plate as in the picture.
The air compressor in mounted onto this plate. The plate is mounted to the chassis with two bolts.
Remove these two bolts.

S T E P 6
This compressor is not to be removed out of the wheel well. Carefully wedge the compressor into the wheel well, so it stays. Some large zip ties can be used to temporary mount the compressor out of the way.
Make sure that you do not kink any of the nylon air hose.
S T E P 7
Remove the storage door.
If your SUV does not have the factory air compressor, please go directly to STEP 14.
SUVs with the air compressor only.
S T E P 8
Pop out the panel that hold the air compressor switch and hose nozzle.
Remove the hose nozzle from panel.
Pop the switch out of the panel, from the back side.
SUVs with the air compressor only.
S T E P 9
Apply tape to the switch panel to mark your cut line and new hose nozzle's mounting hole.
Drill a new mounting hole for the hose nozzle as close to the switch opening as possible.
Cut the bottom of the switch panel just below the new mounting hole.
SUVs with the air compressor only.

The air compressor switch panel needs to be mounted at the lower right corner, outside the pocket onto the side panel.
SUVs with the air compressor only.
S T E P 1 1
The cut out of the side panel only needs to be as wide as the switch hold clips that are on the back side of the switch panel.
The cut out of the side panel only needs to be as tall, as from the bottom of the switch and to the top of the switch panel.
Do not cut the side panel as tall as the tongue that is on the top and the back side of the switch panel.
Mark the hose nozzle's mounting hole onto the side panel.
