To use the numeric buttons in CD mode or in TUNER mode, you have to press the CD button or the TUNER button beforehand to switch the function of the remote control unit from TUNER to CD (or from CD to TUNER).

If the remote control unit doesn’t work, press the CD button or the TUNER button and try again. (Even when the CD or TUNER button is pressed without pointing at the main unit, the function of the remote control unit will be switched.)

For instance, to select track number 35, first press the CD button, and then press “3” and “5”.

To select numbers less than 10, press “0” and then the number. As an example, to select number 2, press “0” and “2”. (Optionally, you may press just the number “2” and then wait a few seconds.)

MMUTING

Use this button to mute the sound.

NTIME

During audio CD playback, use this button to change the time display.

OTIMER

Use this button to turn on or off the timer function.

PSHUFFLE

In CD or iPod mode, use this button to turn on and off the shuffle playback.

QPAUSE (J)

In CD or iPod mode, use this button to pause playback.

RSTOP (H)

In CD mode, use this button to stop playback.

<This button doesn’t work in iPod mode.

SSKIP (.//)

In CD or iPod mode, use these buttons to skip tracks.

TBAND

Use this button to select AM or FM.

UFM MODE

In FM TUNER mode, use this button to select stereo

or monaural.

VRDS

In FM TUNER mode, use this button to select an RDS mode.

WSLEEP

Use this button to set sleep timer.

XPROGRAM

In CD mode, use this button to program tracks.

YCLEAR

Use this button to clear a program.

ZREPEAT A-B

In CD mode, use this button to set the point for A- B repeat.

<This button doesn’t work in iPod mode.

aREPEAT 1/ALL

In CD or iPod mode, use this button to set the repeat function.

Buttons for CD and iPod

To use the following buttons on the remote control unit in CD mode or in iPod mode, you have to press the CD button or the iPod button beforehand to switch the function of the remote control unit from iPod to CD (or from CD to iPod):

PLAY, PAUSE, SHUFFLE, SKIP, SEARCH,

REPEAT 1/ALL
