Buttons for CD and iPod

To use the following buttons on the remote control unit in CD mode or in iPod mode, you have to press the CD button or the iPod button beforehand to switch the function of the remote control unit from iPod to CD (or from CD to iPod):

PLAY, PAUSE, SHUFFLE, SKIP, SEARCH,

REPEAT 1/ALL

If the remote control unit doesn’t work, press the CD button or the iPod button and try again.

(Even when the CD or iPod button is pressed without pointing at the main unit, the function of the remote control unit will be switched.)

For instance, to use shuffle function in CD mode, first press the CD button, and then press the SHUFFLE button.

Numeric buttons for CD and TUNER

To use the numeric buttons in CD mode or in TUNER mode, you have to press the CD button or the TUNER button beforehand to switch the function of the remote control unit from TUNER to CD (or from CD to TUNER).

If the remote control unit doesn’t work, press the CD button or the TUNER button and try again. (Even when the CD or TUNER button is pressed without pointing at the main unit, the function of the remote control unit will be switched.)

To suspend playback temporarily (pause mode)

Press the Pause button (J) during playback. Playback stops at the current position. To resume playback, press the PLAY button (G) or the Pause button (J).

To stop playback

Press the STOP button (H) to stop playback.
