Clean the disc, referring to the section on “Notes on Disc”. (page 34)

The player may not successfully play back a CD-R/RW that is made in combination of writing software, a CD recorder (CD-R/RW drive) and a disc which are incompatible one another. Refer to instructions for the concerned devices for details.

Mounting angle is over 30°.

Adjust mounting angle to less than 30°.

Instable mounting.

Mount the player securely with the mounting parts, referring to the section on installation.

Disc is defective.

Mechanical trouble.

Open the cover and press [<] (eject). If the disc still does not eject, press the reset switch (page 31).

CD-text is not displayed normally.

Time is counted but no sound comes out.

The picture does not appear on the monitor.

The buttons do not work.

Disc is dirty.

Disc has scratches.

The first track of a mix mode disc was reproduced. (Mix mode is a format in which data except music is recorded on the first track and music data is recorded on other than the first track in a session.)

This player does not support mix mode discs. Playback the disc containing only music data or only MP3 data.

Cables are not correctly connected.

Connect cables correctly.

Check the settings for the monitor itself.

Stop the car and apply the parking brake.

Some operations are not permitted with certain discs.

Refer to the guide provided with your disc.

Two REMOTE IN connectors are connected.

Do not connect the remote control signal receiver when remote control signals can be received by the display unit.
