Disc Operations

Slot illumination
Green : No disc is in the player.
Red : A disc is already loaded.
≥Place your forefinger behind the protrusion on the top of the cover, and pull the cover toward you.
Turn the monitor switch to ON.

When a disc is already loaded:

≥ Turn the power on.
Caution:
≥The player can only play the following types of discs: DVD video, video CD, CD and
≥If a disc contains both

≥Do not use irregularly shaped discs.
≥Do not use discs that have a seal or label attached.
≥Do not insert the foreign object into the disc slot.
This system is designed so that you cannot see
the moving picture while you are driving.
Warning
When driving please enjoy sound only
≥Park your car in a safe place with pulling the side brake (parking brake) lever before watch- ing the monitor.
Note:
≥Operations vary according to the disc. For details, refer to the guide provided with the disc.
≥If you record too many folders and files onto a disc, it may take some time before playback starts.
≥When it is difficult to hear comparatively small sound (such as movie dialogue), setting “Minimum” (page
24)will make those sounds easier to hear (only Dolby Digital encoded material).
≥When “/” is displayed, the operation is prohibited by the unit or disc.
