Tape deck operation
Starting tape deck operation
●If there is no cassette in the tape deck,
➮press 9.
The flip release panel will open.
➮Insert a cassette into the tape deck with the open side facing towards the right.
➮Close the operating panel.
Cassette playback will begin with the side facing upwards.
●If there already is a cassette insert- ed into the tape deck,
➮press CD•C @ repeatedly until “CASSETTE” appears in the dis- play.
Playback will resume on the side of the tape which was played last.
Note:
Once the tape reaches the end, it will automatically switch to the other side (autoreverse).
Skipping music tracks (S-CPS)
➮To select the next or other following tracks, press :once or as many times as required.
“CPS FF” and the number of tracks you want to skip will appear in the display. The tape will fast forward to the next or following track as selected.
➮To restart the current track or select
one of the previous tracks, press :once or as many times as re- quired.
“CPS FR” and the number of tracks you want to skip will appear in the display. The tape will rewind to the beginning of the current track or to one of the previ- ous track as selected.
Cassette eject
➮Press 9.
The flip release panel will open and the cassette will eject.
➮Remove the cassette and close the operating panel.
OR
➮Insert a different cassette.
Changing cassette sides
➮To switch from SIDE A to SIDE B and vice versa, press 2 >.
Repeating music tracks
➮Press 4 RPT >.
The track currently playing will repeat. RPT will light up in the display. When the tape rewinds back to the beginning of the track, “REPEAT TRCK” will ap- pear in the display.
➮To stop repeating the track, press 4 RPT > again.
Playback will resume normally. RPT will disappear from the display.
