Scrolling

Moves you through a directory.

SIM card - Subscriber Identification Module

For radio and telephone operation. The SIM card used here is in credit-card format. It is also possible to use the small SIM card (plug- in card) with an adapter card.

The SIM card contains all of the data required to identify the subscriber, to allocate the tel- ephone number and the personal phone book.

SMS - Short Message Service

Using this function it is possible to send other subscribers messages up to 160 characters in length, even if the recipient’s cellular phone is not switched on or a call cannot be put through at the present time.

The text is stored in the network until the re- cipient retrieves it or the time allowed by the sender expires.

Speed-dial

This function allows you to dial telephone numbers at the touch of a button.

SRC - Source

Switches audio source between radio, CD changer and AUX. Returns the system from telephone to radio operation.

TA - Traffic Announcement (priority for traffic messages)

“TA” in the display indicates that traffic an- nouncement priority is switched on.

TP - Traffic Program

“TP” in the display indicates that the radio is currently tuned into a radio station which broadcasts traffic information.

TS - Travelstore

Automatically stores the radio stations with the strongest reception signals, can be re- trieved by pressing the station preset buttons. Very useful on trips.

User group

It is possible to limit the use of the telephone to a certain group of users. Your network op- erator/service provider can provide more de- tailed information.
