User settings Factory settings

AUX EDIT

Entry of an individual 15-digit name for the AUX source. Possible characters: space, 0 – 9, A – Z.

￿Press the rotary control 7to open the menu.

￿Press the rotary control 7 to change the setting.

For each of the 15 characters:

￿Turn the rotary control 7 to set the charac- ter.

￿Press the rotary control 7 to confirm the setting.

You automatically change to the next character and finally return to the menu.

The name entered is shown on the display as soon as you select the AUX source.

SCAN TIME

Setting the scan time in seconds. Settings: 4/8/12/16/60 SEC.

￿Press the rotary control 7 to change the setting.

￿Turn the rotary control 7 to change be- tween the settings.

￿Press the rotary control 7 to confirm the setting.

VERSION

Displaying the version of the CPU and software of the radio.

￿Press the rotary control 7to open the menu.

￿Turn the rotary control 7to toggle between the display of the version number of CPU (P) and software (E).

NORMSET

Restoring the original factory settings of the car sound system.

￿Press the rotary control 7.

The display shows "PLEASE CONFIRM".

￿Press the rotary control 7 again to confirm the resetting.

The car sound system switches off and is reset to the factory settings. If a CD has been inserted in the CD drive, the car sound system automatically switches on again.
