3.Give the Disc a name by selecting the disc twice – this name will be read aloud to you in the car when you play this disc.

4.You can also directly drag a playlist you created earlier, listed under All Playlists, onto the DMS.

These virtual discs are now available in the car with the same names and numbering using the Playlist mode.

Ejecting the DMS

When you are finished modifying the contents of the DMS disc, click Save/Eject DMS. This step will copy all new songs, databases, and other system files to the cartridge. When done, the DMS cartridge drive letters will be removed from Windows and you can pull out the DMS cartridge.

Wait until the software displays a message indicating it is safe to remove the cartridge. Removing the cartridge before this message appears will corrupt the hard drive.

The PhatBox can handle as many as 9999 separate Disc numbers, with up to 9999 songs per Disc number. The total number of songs on the DMS Cartridge must not exceed 30,000.
