With a junction box connected outgoing, incoming, and sending history will also be recorded in the portable telephone.

While telephoning, Time Correction is set to normal (0.0ms) and DEFEAT is also set to ON. When the call has finished, the unit returns to the setting which you previously set.

The telephone volume can be adjusted from the IVA-D901. The volume you set during the call is memorized, and is automatically applied again on the next call.

Telephone Reception

1 When this unit receives a call, the screen is switched to RINGING display of Telephone mode.

2 When AUTO call (setting of AUTO/MANUAL call page 32) is selected, CONNECT display appears and this unit enters AUTO call mode in 3 seconds after receiving.

3 To cut the call, press 2 ( ). Or the call is automatically cut in 5 seconds after finishing.

The screen returns to the previous source mode.

To input any number or symbol during call:

1Press 3 (TENKEY MODE) in the CONNECT display. The DIAL Sending display appears.

2Turn the Rotary encoder to select your desired Number or symbol, then press the Rotary encoder to enter it.

3Press 7 (RETURN) to return the previous screen.

Calling

Calling by using the Speed Dial

You can place a call by retrieving one of the telephone numbers registered in No. 1 to 9 of the address book.

1 Press the Rotary encoder for more than 2 seconds.

The Speed Dial display appears.

2 Press the desired function button.

If the telephone numbers have been registered in No.6 to 9, press 6 (6 - 9).

The Function Guide is switched to the function buttons 1 (6) to 4 (9).

Press 1 (

) to start call.

To cut the call, press 2 (

). Or the call is

automatically cut in 5 seconds after finishing.

If no telephone number is registered in the selected function button,

"NO PRESET" is displayed for 5 seconds.

Press 7 (RETURN) to return to the Telephone menu display.

When 1 (SPEED DIAL) is pressed in the Telephone menu display, the Speed Dial display appears.

By pressing your desired function button for more than 2 seconds in step 2, you can start call directly.

Dial call

Input the telephone number using the dial.

1 Press and hold the Rotary encoder for more than 2 seconds.

The Speed Dial display appears.

2 Press 7 (RETURN).

The Telephone menu display appears.

3 Press 4 (DIRECT CALL). The Direct Call display appears.

4 Turn the Rotary encoder to select the desired number, then press the Rotary encoder to enter the first digit.

;BACK or NEXT:: The cursor on the input number moves left or right.

DELETE:Deletes a blank space or a number. Pressing more than 2 seconds deletes all input numbers.

5 Press 1 (CALL) to start call.

• The call is cut in 5 seconds after "NO NETWORK COVERAGE" is

displayed. Or press 2 (

) to cut the call.

To listen to the answer-phone or to input numbers:

1In the CONNECT display, press 3 (TENKEY MODE). The Dial Sending display appears.

2Turn the Rotary encoder to select your desired Number or symbol, then press the Rotary encoder to enter it.

3Press the 7 (RETURN) button to return to the previous screen.

6 To cut the call, press 2 (

). Or the call is

automatically cut in 5 seconds after finishing.

The screen returns to the previous source mode.

If 7 (RETURN) is pressed in 5 seconds after the call is cut, the Telephone menu display appears.

• When the call is cut, pressing 1 (

) dials the number again.
