Menu 11, Activate Keyguard

Press left F(Menu) then 11

Keyguard remains on until you deactivate by pressing left F(Menu) then . When the function is activated and there is no call in progress, no key tones are heard and no key presses are be accepted, except for calls to 911 (or other official preprogrammed emergency number) and Uand E.

When placing an emergency call, the emergency number is displayed only after you have keyed in all its digits. After the emergency call, Keyguard automatically becomes active again. Keyguard cannot be activated when the phone is connected to a car kit or in the handsfree desktop charger.
