9. The Menu

The phone’s menus and submenus give access to most of the phone’s functions.

Menu guidelines

1)Press left ñ(Menu) to enter the menus.

2)Press W and V to step through menus, submenus, and options.

3)÷gives help text on menus and submenus and goes to the next screen of help text if there are several.

4)Press right ñ(Quit) to go back one level.

5)ùexits the menu facility without making changes.

Scrolling through the menus

1)Press left ñ(Menu).

2)Press W or V to menu you want.

3)Press left ñ(Select or OK) to enter submenus and choose options.

The current setting appears first in lists of setting options.

Entering menus by number (shortcuts)

Press left ñ(Menu) then menu number then sub- menu number then setting number.

The menus, submenus and setting options are numbered. The number is shown in the display’s top right corner. Once you reach the menu or submenu you want, you can also use W or V to see options.

Note: Press the menu, submenu, and setting numbers within a couple of seconds of each other when using this method.
