Hotkeys

Instead of entering the various menus and browsing the lists, you can set a direct access to a specific func- tion by linking it to a Hotkey, so that a long press on

some Hotkeys, in addition to 0and 1, can be pre- defined and locked, preventing reprogramming.

You can associate hotkeys 2to 9to the functions of the following table.

this key will automatically activate this function.

You can only program keys 1to 9, as keys 0(se- lect language) and 1(retrieve voice mailbox) are predefined and cannot be changed.

1.To set a hotkey, press ,, select Settings > Hotkeys and press ,.

2.Select a key from 2to 9and press ,.

3.Browse the list to select the function you wish to associate with this key. Press ,to confirm your choice.

If the selected key is already set, you can reprogram it: press ,twice, select Change and press ,. This will bring you to the list of available functions.

4.To use the hotkeys, simply press and hold the key corresponding to the function you want to launch or activate while in idle mode.

You can also set hotkeys for voice dial (see “Clear the call list” page 15). Depending on your service provider

Dials the associated number of the Phonebook.

Activates the silence quick setting (vi- bra on, ringer volume off).

Activates the autonomy quick setting, which extends the battery autonomy (animation off, vibra off, backlight off, ringer volume medium).

Activates the headset quick setting (ringer volume medium, any key an- swer on).

Activates the car quick setting (ringer volume high, any key answer). Activates the outdoors quick setting (ringer volume high).

Activates the meeting quick setting (vibra on, ringer and all keys set to si- lent).

Activates the personal settings.
