4. Messaging

SMS

This menu allows you to send text messages using Short Messaging Service (SMS), as well as manage the messages you have sent and received.

New SMS

To compose and send an SMS, select New SMS.

When you finish writing your message, press L Options access the next options:

Send

Save as draft

Input language

When the message is completed, press L Options > Send to send your message. Input a new number or

select a contact from your phonebook. You can send it up to 5 recipients. Press Options > Send to confirm and send your message. Select Add Recipients. Press

Lto confirm.

When you send a message via the SMS network, your phone may display Sent Successfully. This means the

message has been sent to the SMS center which you have set in your SIM card. However, this does not imply that the message has been sent to its destination.

Inbox

This menu allows you to read the SMS messages

which you have received. The messages are displayed in a list. You can select a message and press LOptions

to access the following menu options:

View

View the selected message.

Reply

Reply to the sender.

Forward

Forward the selected message.

Call

Call the sender.

Store Number

Save the number of the sender.

Move

Move the message to your phone or

 

SIM.

Delete

Delete a selected message.

Delete all

Delete all messages in the Inbox.

Outbox

When you select Autosave SMS in message settings, the sent message will be stored in Outbox.
