8. Settings

This menu allows you to change the settings associated with each available option in your phone.

General

Language

Allows you to select a language for all the menu texts. Press + or - to browse the list of languages and press

LOK.

Time and Date

Allows you to set the time and date.

Date &Time

Enter the date/time using the

Setting

keypad.

Date/ Display

Select the Date Format.

Format

 

Date Separator

Select the format to separate the day,

 

month and year.

Time Display

Select either 12 hours or 24 hours.

Format

 

Answer Mode

Select either Normal or Any key.

Security

This menu allows you access the features relating to the security of your mobile phone and the data you store there.

PIN Protection

This allows you to set the PIN protection and PIN codes.

When On, you will be asked to enter your PIN code

when switching your phone on. You can select to Change PIN1 and Change PIN 2 codes. Depending on

your SIM card, some features or options may require a PIN2 secret code given to you by your operator.

You cannot change your PIN code if this option is Off.

The default PIN code is 1234. If you enter a wrong PIN code 3 times, your SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, request the PUK code from your operator or retailer. If you enter an incorrect PUK code 10 times in a row, the SIM card will be blocked and unusable. If this happens, contact your operator or retailer.
