	•Flashes when call is in progress.

	•Flashes or lights steadily if phone

	service area.

	received while NS is lit.

	RM (Roam Indicator)

	•If slow or rapid ﬂashing, you are
888	accessing a service area outside
	of your home system.

	Roaming on a home

Roaming on a non-home type system.

If no key is pressed within 8 seconds:

•The keypad backlight will extinguish to conserve the battery level.

•The signal strength meter will continue to ﬂash indicating that the power is still on.
