To enter a new number or email address, press Options and select Enter Number or Enter Email.

Your phone might tell you that this is a multimedia message, if it has multiple pages or media objects in it. Some other phones or networks do not support multimedia messages. Press Send to send the message.

Receive a Text Message

When you receive a message, your phone plays an alert, and the display shows New Message with a

message indicator, such as g. Press Read to open the message.

To view all your text messages, press > Tools > Messages > Message Inbox.

If a multimedia message contains media objects then:

Pictures and animations are showed as you read the message.

A sound file plays when its slide shows. Use the volume keys to adjust the sound volume.

Attached files are added to the end of the message. To open an attachment, scroll to the file indicator/filename and press View (image), Play (sound), or Open (phonebook vCard, calendar vCalendar entry, or unknown file type).

Send Email

Press > Tools > Messages > New Message > New Email.

Send Voice Message

Press > Tools > Messages > New Message > New Voice Msg.

Press Record to record the voice message. To stop recording, press Stop. Your phone inserts the voice recording into a message and lets you enter email addresses or phone numbers of the recipients.
