IU (In Use Indicator)

 

 

 

•Flashes when call is in progress.

NS (No Service Indicator)

•Flashes or lights steadily if phone 888 is beyond range of a cellular

service area.

8888888 •Calls cannot be placed or received while NS is lit.

 

RM (Roam Indicator)

 

 

 

•If slow or rapid flashing, you are

accessing a service area outside

 

of your home system.

Slow Flashing

 

Roaming on a home

type system. Rapid Flashing

Roaming on a non-home type system.

If no key is pressed within 8 seconds:

•The keypad backlight will extinguish to conserve the battery level.

•The signal strength meter will continue to flash indicating that the power is still on.
