Using the office tools

The Office Tools menu contains a scratchpad, an alarm clock, an auto- switch feature and a calculator.

Scratchpad

You can store up to 5 separate en- tries of 36 characters in the scratch- pad.

Turning the broadcast alert tone on or off

To turn on or off the alert tone the phone gives when a broad- cast message arrives:

Select Alert.

3Select Read Notes. Use or to scroll through the entries.

Select Write Notes to make a new scratchpad entry.

Broadcast language

To select the broadcast language:

1Press . Select Settings.

2Select Broadcast.

3Select Language.

To set a daily 'Reminder Alarm':

When 'on' the alarm activates at the same time every day until turned off.

1Press . Select Office Tools.

2Select Alarm clock.

3Select On and enter the alarm time (in 24 hour format) or

press OK to accept the dis- played time.

Confirmation appears.
