YOUR DISPLAY

The display screen on your Ericsson handset can tell you a lot – and help you use menu and memory functions to do some pretty amazing things.

Here’s what the display symbols mean:

>Signal Strength Bar. The strength of the signal currently being received where you are. The more bars displayed on the left side of the display, the stronger the signal. As long as you see “OMNIPOINT” in the display, you should have a signal strong enough to make a call.

>Battery Bar. Battery power status. A “full” (blackened) battery bar shown on the right side of the display means full charge. The battery bar goes down with use; an “empty” (clear) battery bar means the battery must be recharged.

>Lock Icon. Shows that the keypad is locked.

>Alarm Icon. Shows that the alarm clock is active.

>Arrow Icon. Shows that all incoming calls are forwarded to another number.

>Ring/Off Icon. Shows that the ring signal for incoming calls is turned off.
